Unforgettable Moments from BBNaija Pepper Dem Season

 In just 36 hours five seasons of Big Brother Naija will officially start. This year’s show will live streamed on Showmax.

It is safe to say that the fourth season, titled “Pepper Dem” was one of the most popular seasons thus far, and it was awash with a number of memorable moments. This marked the very first occasion that that the show featured an female winner, Mercy Eke, who took home the prize of N60 million prize.

Mercy is now set to appear on her own reality series, alongside her former housemate Ike In ‘Mercy & Ike which is also available on Showmax.

In keeping with tradition housemates came back to The Pepper Dem Reunion show where they debated and resolved any doubts floating around. Although it’s over but fans can still catch the episodes on Showmax.

Omashola’s diary session for the first time

Omashola quickly became the talk of the town after his first diary session in which he provided a thorough outline of his initial days at the house and also his opinion of his housemates. The diary session was so popular session that the music producer Don Jazzy tweeted, “three gboza for that Omashola diary session abeg.”

Mike’s “I go report” moment

While the housematespracticed for the ‘Pepsi Knew Da Lyrics’ challenge, Omashola was able to help Mike out by singing the lyrics from Teni’s Case. While they rehearsed the song, Mike, despite his best efforts, was unable to pronounce “report” with a British accent, even though the song was written in Pinglin English!

Frodd weeping over Esther

In the Pepper Dem Reunion show, Frodd convinced us that he had walked away from Esther. However, while at the home, Frodd expressed his desire to establish a close relationship with her, but Esther refused to give his permission. Frodd was unable to take the rejection, broke into tears, leaving viewers stunned and amused. The couple would go through a rocky relationship which culminated in the kiss of a lifetime moment at the home.

Tacha, Tacha, Tacha

The infamous Tacha interview with Ebuka when Ebuka asked her to list three traits of an Big Brother Naija winner and she replied “Tacha, Tacha, Tacha.” Her reply spawned the famous portmanteau Tacharacteristics. Tacha was later issued two points for rudeness.

Announcing the arrival of brand new housemates

On the 4th week of the show Five new household members were brought in to the house, putting the game around. Newbie Venita was able to disrupt the romance that was developing between Khaffi and Gedoni and also becoming a third wheel for Frodd with Esther. Elozonam developed a friendship with Diane and Joe was involved in a dispute with Tacha that earned him an expulsion. Enkay was later involved in an argument with Cindy, who was the last newcomer to be admitted to the house.

One odd twists during this season’s Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem season was the expulsion of Enkay for the outcome of a Ludo game played by Cindy. The drama began after Enkay did not want to play a second game of Ludo with her fellow newcomer Cindy during her stay at home. The show’s fans took to on Twitter to express their displeasure at what they believed was Enkay’s arrogant attitude, and then proceeded voting against her. When she was ejected from the show, she described the entire situation as a major miscommunication.

Seyi as well as Tacha’s battle

Seyi and Tacha formed a bond after their fake expulsion of the program. However, their friendship would begin to unravel at the edges. When Ebuka confronted the pair about their disagreement in the live eviction program on Saturday, Seyi described Tacha as Tacha as a “silly little girl who tries to act gangster”. Tacha said that he was a drunk, and added that Seyi did not have the same level of success as she did at the age of 23.

Tacha’s Disqualification 10 days prior to the final
